White Willow Bark

White Willow is a low-growing deciduous tree with long, green, tapering leaves and grey-brown bark. Native to Europe and western Asia, it has a long history of use in traditional European herbalism. Willow Bark began to be transformed into aspirin beginning in 1828 because of its active ingredient salicin.
Herbs come from either Mountain Rose Herbs or Frontier. There may be slight variation with color or cut of the herb but it will have the same effect. All herbs are organic.
