1930 Tarot de Marseille

B.P. Grimaud of Paris first printed this version of the Tarot de Marseille in 1930 only to be discontinued shortly after due to the start of World War II. Few examples of original decks exist, and those that do are often in poor shape. Here’s a reprinted version from an elusive, restored deck!

The Tarot of Marseilles is a historical divination deck. Historians believe it was created in the 15th century in Northern Italy where it was then brought over to France. Many tarot decks today have been influenced by the Tarot of Marseilles.
